Today I got a huge packet from Families United Network in PA on fostering and adopting. While it doesn’t give me any information regarding the agency itself, their policies, services and background, it holds 10 different sections of all the paperwork needed to get the ball rolling! FBI checks, mental health forms, physician forms, references, autobiography–it’s all in there. Transparent and ready to be filled out. I haven’t gotten this far with any agency, even the one that we applied to this summer. AND the kind woman from the agency offered to visit us in OUR home when we arrive in Pennsylvania to go over everything. It’s crazy! I now have two different meetings set up in my new home to meet with agencies regarding our interest in fostering/adopting a sibling group. I am so excited!
