I hope everyone got to enjoy their weekend with their families and friends! We were lucky that my mom was still in town and my brother in law came to visit. We got a lot done and had fun doing it!
Hubby has been eyeing the neighbor’s jeep and finally took it for a test drive, negotiated, and bought it! Title transfer won’t be for a few weeks so he didn’t get to drive it this weekend, which he was totally bummed about.
We had lots of ice cream. Central Pennsylvania seems to be the soft serve capital of the US. It’s crazy! There are so many different soft serve places to try, way more than in North Carolina. And it’s cooler here! I can’t wrap my head around it. But here’s our newest find, and they dip their cones! So this is peanut butter soft serve ice cream dipped in chocolate… tastes like a really good Klondike bar!
The ice cream man also made his inaugural visit… Little One said “I never in my life knew that there was an ice cream truck!” She cracks me up.
We have beautiful trees in bloom…
Not sure what it is but it sure is pretty!
The sky was blue and the sun was shining, spectacular!
We visited the driving range around the corner from our house… it was empty! My mom and Little One picked up the balls closest to the tees and then we practiced hitting them…
Hubby tried to get her going right handed but it turns out she’s awfully like me, and switched around to hit leftie!
Our Memorial Day feast included BBQ chicken for me and seafood for everyone else, including Little One who wolfed down some crab legs!
I heart the USA!
